MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

No, I`m not coming home yet... that`s still a ways away. But, by "mission accomplished" I mean our goal here in Olmos. In January when President sent me here to open the area, the goal was to divide our ward into 2 wards because it covered such a large area, but they needed more members and activity or else they wouldn`t be able to divide it. So, we went to work! And now, just yesterday, our Stake President came and announced the division!! YAY!!! It`s pretty cool to be here the whole time, and to be able to see the division. It was sad to say bye to half the members, but exciting to see the church grow at the same time!
In other news, my tooth isn`t black anymore!!!! YAY!!! haha how sad. I`m still not ALL done, and have to travel 6 hours once a week for 3 more weeks up to Lomas, but I`m so happy! It`s so relieving getting it fixed!
We had a rockin experience yesterday. We have a really high baptismal goal this transfer, and we have some awesome people who are going to get baptized in the next few weeks, but we haven`t been able to get our goal, so we`ve been praying a LOT, especially since we`re already half way throught the transfer. Then yesterday, we had a little time without citas so we went to contact a reference we had gotten from an investigator of ours. We found her and her son, and started teaching her about the restoration and baptism. She told us she had listened a little to the missionaries before but never got baptized cuz she didnt want to change her life. We taught a lot about baptism and authority, and at the end of the charla she asked "So, if I want to get baptized, what do I have to do?" We explained and took out fechas (baptismal dates) with her and her son right there in the first charla, and they`re both already super excited to come to church and prepare to get baptized! :) Just shows that Heavenly Father really does answer prayers when we do our part and put our trust in him.
Man was it a good Sunday! That all happened, we had 8 investigators in sacrament meeting, and later at night we had a special devotional to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of building the chapel in Olmos, and 7 more investigators came! YAY! I love life! There`s good days and bad days, but ya just gotta keep smiling and working, and everything works out great!
Anyways, I love you all tons, and I`ll talk to you next week! Chau for now! Be good and smile tons!
